  • Salem Pride Festival

    • June 1 - 29, 2013
    • More than 80 nonprofits, local businesses, faith groups, and community organizations are set to participate in the second annual North Shore Pride Parade and Festival taking place Saturday, June 29 in Salem, MA. All are welcome to attend this day-long event celebrating unity in the community. Events taking place throughout the month of June are also part of the Pride Festival.

  • Salem Farmers Market

    • June 13, 2013 - October 24, 2013
    • Over 30 vendors offering a wide range of fresh produce, fresh bread, cheeses, fresh seafood, chowder, wine, meats, pasta, art items and much more. Each week you will find new activities at the Market like cooking demos from local chefs and restaurants, along with music and other sponsored activities.

  • Salem Summer Concert Series

    • June 16, 2013 - October 31, 2013
    • Each Sunday throughout the Summer of 2013, the City of Salem is hosting the Peabody Street Park Concert Series. Heading up this project is Mamadou Diop, leader of the World Fusion band MAMADOU. The goal of this project is to bring the communities of Salem together through music.

  • PEM/PM Evening Party Series

    • These unconventional gatherings feature cocktails and conversation, art making and music, culinary demonstrations and surprising experiences.
      Also on the third Thursday of every month, the entire museum stays open from 10 am to 9:30 pm.

  • Tuesday Evening Concerts at the Willows

    • June 25, 2013 - July 30, 2013
    • Bring your lawn chair and a blanket and get ready to hear the North Shore Concert Band every Tuesday in June and July at 7pm.

      Selections from Broadway, Big Band, classical repertoire, Disney and other popular selections.

  • Mahi Summer Music Series

    • Aboard  the Hannah  Glover,  the  Mahi  Summer  Music  Series  offers a  cool  atmosphere  with sunset views, fresh air, local brews, tropical cocktails, great music and a great crowd. Every Thursday night, starting June 27, come party with Mahi and ‘Gansett aboard the Hannah Glover!

      Tickets are $19 and can be purchase online (mahicruises.com) or by phone (978.825.000). Groups of five (5) or more $15 with advanced purchase. Reservations are always recommended. Band list is online. 21+ event

  • Salem Celebrates the 4th!

    • For thirteen years residents and visitors have gathered on Derby Wharf at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site to celebrate Independence Day. Featuring a Pops concert performed by the 42 piece Hillyer Festival Orchestra, a Kid Space play area, and fireworks launched over Salem Harbor, this is a quintessential celebration of the 4th of July!

      Fireworks begin at 9:15pm.

    • On July 20th and 21st, A3D is hosting the seventh annual Salem CultureFest - an outdoor cultural experience featuring music, arts and crafts, performances, food, family, and fun!! This event features live bands who showcase many cultures and styles, as well as other performers (storytellers, martial artists, dancers, and more) who entertain you while you enjoy exploring the unique arts, crafts, and wares of our areas finest artists and crafters.

  • Salem Maritime Festival

    • August 3 - 3, 2013
    • The 25th annual Salem Maritime Festival offers an exciting array of free family fun, including live music, free harbor cruises, craft demonstrations, dance, story-telling, and much more! Kids will enjoy face painting, fish painting, seaside kite-flying, radio-controlled boats, a "Muck Walk" and touch tanks with their favorite marine critters.

  • Salem Jazz and Soul Festival

    • August 17 - 18, 2013
    • The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival recreates and renews the vibrant jazz scene that began at the Salem Willows in the 1920’s, when Duke Ellington and other musicians from the Big Band era played at the seaside park in Massachusetts. The festival builds on this rich jazz history - adding soul, blues and funk to the mix and shining the spotlight on talented musicians from Boston’s North Shore and beyond.

  • Antique & Classic Boat Festival

    • August 24 - 25, 2013
    • The flash of polished bronze and gleam of varnished wood across the water will be the order of the day as elegant antique and classic yachts sail into Salem for the Antique & Classic Boat Festival. Mostly wood, primarily private yachts and aesthetically stunning, the vessels will be on display to the public over the weekend at Brewer Hawthorne Cove Marina.

  • 32nd Annual Haunted Happenings
