Hexennacht- A Ritual for the Eve of May
April 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10 - $20
According to the folklore of the old world, the Eve of May was said to be the most important holy day for witches and spirit-workers, second only to the feast of Hallow’s Eve. Called St. Walpurgis’ Day after a martyred 8th-century abbess, known folklorically as “Hexennacht,” or “Witches’ Night,” the revelries and ceremonies of practitioners of the Old Faith were held on wild lands and mountain tops to celebrate the return of Summer.
Hosted by Justice the Wizard, we welcome you to join us in The Cauldron Black’s Spirit Parlor as we observe our Witches’ Night ritual with fellowship, feast, fire, and faith in the Old Gods and Ancestors of the Craft.
A donation of $10 – $20 is appreciated to help cover the costs of supplies, space, and time, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please pre-register as space is limited! Contact the Cauldron Black (978-744-2492) for more information.
