North Shore Cancer Walk
June 24 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
For those who have been treated by cancer, or who have supported a family member or loved one fighting cancer, the North Shore Cancer WALK is more than just steps that count up to miles. It is a celebration of community, caring, and confidence in cures yet to come. On Sunday, June 24, 2018, mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, friends, co-workers, teachers and students will wind their way along the 10K (6.2 mile) WALK route through Salem. For more than two decades, the North Shore Cancer WALK has brought together a community focused on raising funds for the fight against cancer. To date, we have raised a remarkable $22.5 million.
Proceeds from the 2018 WALK will be used for a new surgical robot that will bring advanced technology for prostate cancer surgery as well as benefit oncology services at North Shore Medical Center and the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center, such as clinical trials and wellness care. Up to $1 million in funds raised for the robot will be matched by a private donor, doubling the benefit of your contribution to North Shore patients and their families.
